Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Yoomey AI (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do.
1. What the Service is
Yoomey AI provides software tools that run inside your web browser to work with PDF and image files. The software is delivered from our servers, but the files you choose are processed on your own device. Your files never leave your device and we never receive them.
2. Your files and your responsibility
- You keep all rights to your files. We claim no licence to them — we never have them.
- You are responsible for having the right to process the files you use with the Service, including any passwords you enter into Unlock PDF.
- Keep your own copies. The Service does not store files, so there is nothing we can recover for you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including removing protection from documents you are not entitled to unlock;
- interfere with, overload or attack our infrastructure, including the metrics endpoint;
- misrepresent the Service or remove our notices when redistributing its public pages.
4. Free service, no warranty
The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make every tool reliable, but results depend on the files you provide and on your device’s browser and memory. To the fullest extent permitted by law we make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Always check important output before relying on it.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yoomey AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
6. Open-source components
The Service includes open-source software such as pdf.js (Apache-2.0), pdf-lib (MIT) and Tesseract.js (Apache-2.0). Their licences apply to those components.
7. Privacy
How we handle the small amount of technical data involved in running a website is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. We may change or discontinue any tool. Because we hold no user data or files, there is nothing to export or delete if you stop using the Service.
