No. Yoomey runs the entire process inside your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read into your device’s memory, processed there, and handed back to you as a download. We never receive it, so we cannot see, store or leak it — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.

Which image formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP. WebP images are converted to high-quality JPG before being placed in the PDF.

What does “Optimize images” do?

Accepted Answer

It resizes very large photos to a maximum of 2,400 pixels on the long edge and re-compresses them, which usually makes the PDF dramatically smaller with no visible difference on screen.
