Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Yoomey runs the entire process inside your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read into your device’s memory, processed there, and handed back to you as a download. We never receive it, so we cannot see, store or leak it — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.

Are images extracted at full quality?

Accepted Answer

Yes. JPEG images are extracted byte-for-byte with no re-compression. Other images are decoded and saved losslessly as PNG.

Why are some graphics missing?

Accepted Answer

Vector drawings (charts, logos drawn with lines) aren’t images. Use PDF to JPG to capture them as pictures instead.
